FIELD: water supply systems; water purification works; reception, settling and treatment of flushing water of high-rate filters for reuse of them. SUBSTANCE: proposed settler-balancing reservoirs provides for preparation of flushing water for return to main flow of water being clarified at constant rated parameters (flow rate, muddiness) which have no negative effect on conditions of clarification of main initial flow of water. To this end, main housing is divided into three reservoirs. Mounted between clarified water reservoir and adjusting reservoir is baffle whose center portion is movable and admits water in one direction from adjusting reservoir to settler. When settling reservoir is filler to capacity, baffle closes holes, thus letting no water in reverse direction. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 dwg
