A head unit 34 is provided with a rotary head 42, a suction nozzle 48, a linear motor actuator 62, an outer cover 40, and a heat pipe 70. The suction nozzle 48 is attached to a leading end of a nozzle holder 46 that is slidable in the vertical direction. The linear motor actuator 62 presses down and stops pressing down a nozzle operation lever 54 of the nozzle holder 46 by engaging the nozzle operation lever with the linear motor actuator by means of a nozzle engaging section 66 attached to a slider 64. The linear motor actuator 62 is covered with the outer cover 40. The heat pipe 70 connects to each other the outer cover 40 and a sub-frame 38 surrounding the linear motor actuator 62, and releases heat to the outer cover 40, said heat having been generated from the linear motor actuator 62. Consequently, heat in the inner side covered with the outer cover 40 can be efficiently released. |
