PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a signal waveform deterioration without an increase of an ONU processing amount, if a communication path between an OLT and an ONU is switched over, in an optical communication system in which the OLT communicates with the ONU with multilevel modulation.SOLUTION: In the optical communication system constituted by an OLT 91 and an ONU 92, the OLT 91 calculates a filter coefficient to perform the filter processing on a downlink signal to be transmitted to the ONU 92 using the filter coefficient, and transmits the filter coefficient information by the downlink signal. The ONU 92 acquires the filter coefficient information from the downlink signal received from the OLT 91, to perform the filter processing on an uplink signal to be transmitted to the OLT 91 using the acquired filter coefficient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
