PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the sweetness of a natural sweetener, to reduce the using amount of the natural sweetener, to suppress calories and to prepare sweet and delicious Japanese cakes, cakes, bread and juice kinds, etc., by putting licorice extract and balsam alcohol extract in food containing the natural sweetener and processing it. SOLUTION: The licorice extract and the balsam alcohol extract or liquid for which licorice is extracted by the balsam alcohol extract is put in the food containing the natural sweetener (example; sugar, black sugar, brown sugar, fructose, glucose, maltose, crystallized sugar, molasses and glutinous starch syrup, etc.) and processed.
