The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a transparent conductive film-equipped glass substrate for which, when a transparent conductive film formed on a base glass layer is patterned with a laser, discoloration or damage of the transparent conductive film or the base glass layer can be suppressed; and a method for manufacturing such a transparent conductive film-equipped glass substrate. A transparent conductive film-equipped glass substrate 6 is provided with a glass substrate, a base glass layer disposed on the glass substrate, and a transparent conductive film 3 disposed on the base glass layer and patterned with a laser. The transparent conductive film-equipped glass substrate 6 is characterized in that: the base glass layer has an absorption rate, at the wavelength of the laser, less than that of the transparent conductive film 3 and greater than that of the glass substrate; a patterning region 10 from which part of the transparent conductive film 3 has been removed by patterning with the laser comprises a first linear portion 11, a second linear portion 12, and a connecting portion 13 that connects the first linear portion 11 and the second linear portion 12; the angle formed by the first linear portion 11 and the second linear portion 12 is 120° or less; and the radius of curvature of the connecting portion 13 is at least 0.5 mm. |
