The use of nucleotide sequences coding for antibodies to any molecule involved in a graft versus host reaction (hereinafter anti-molecule antibodies), for preparing transgenic cells or organs of non-human mammals, wherein said molecules at least partially form immune complexes with said anti-molecule antibodies, such that the activity of said molecules in graft versus host reactions is at least partially inhibited, said transgenic cells or organs of non-human mammals being intended for transplantation into a patient, is disclosed.
