<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a crack in a filter and its damage due to melting and its breakage by using a clearance between an external cylindrical matal pipe and an internal cylindrical matal pipe which incorporates the filter as a sealed hollow part and providing a heating part which heats a predetermined flow rate of air which is introduced into the internal cylindrical metal pipe and blows hot air to the filter. SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device which passes exhaust gas and burns particulates such as soot which adheres to a filter 108 which catches particulates has a filter storage double vessel 107, which consists of an external cylindrical metal pipe 117a, an internal cylindrical metal pipe 117b, and two metal rings 117c, 117d which connect both end parts of both metal pipes 117a, 117b, and a hollow part has a sealed structure. To regenerate the filter 108, secondary air 123 which is introduced from a flow passage pipe 109, burned, and regenerated is heated by an electrical heater 114. Next the generated hot air is blown to the filter 108 to uniformly burn caught particulates.</p> |
