PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase optical fibers terminated even after they are installed in a communication equipment building by setting core selection device miniaturized by using a fiber matching switch and a plurality of optical unit into a set and mounting the plural sets. SOLUTION: A terminating block 12 is constituted of the core selection device 14, the optical units 13 and the optical fibers connected to them in the unit of 112 cores, for example. The necessary number of optical units 13 is installed. The optical fibers 15 connecting the core selection device 14 and the optical units 13 are preferentially wired in a manufacture factory and they are connector-connected in installing the optical units 13. In such a case, the terminating blocks 12 can be installed in a frame body 11 up to three. The optical fibers 17 wired in the respective optical units from a switch core selection device 16 can preferentially be wired in the manufacture factory and they are connector-connected in increasing the optical units 13.
