A compact golf data analyzing device has a keyboard, a display window, a processor, and a memory. The keyboard includes an increase key, a decrease key, and an enter key. The processor responds to the keyboard and displays the golf data, performs ~ on and analyzes the data, and receives and transmits the data to and from the memory. The processor and memory together with the selectively operated increase key, decrease key, and enter key, input and analyze golf data on a player, on a course, and/or on a score for a hole and can be selectively operated to display and store golf data on a player's score, a player's handicap, a player's best score and/or to display and store golf data on a course.
