Container for a product which can be poured or sprinkled, which container comprises an upright side wall connected to the bottom, with the side wall connecting to a flat edge encircling on the side of the opening, the flat edge having a covering sheet fastened to it, consisting of two constituent sheets attached to each other, one portion of which being designed as a tab (3), and that a yield line (6) partly bounding the opening to be formed is formed in one of both constituent sheets, all in such a way, that on reaching this line (6) and further exertion of a pulling force during opening, the covering sheet is detached up to the line (6) of the container, and at least the lower constituent sheet keeps the dispensing opening closed off beyond the line (6). Tear-initiating means (8), such as notches, for example, can be present at both sides of the tab (3). |
