PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the data output method which can alter the representation style of data outputted, according to the data attribute of an item. SOLUTION: A computer system 1 has a color definition table, containing output color information corresponding to data attributes of items, in a color definition memory 12d of a RAM 12. A CPU 13 decides the data attribute (input item, retrieval item, and calculation item) of an item to be outputted according to a document definition table stored in a document definition memory 12c, reads corresponding output color data out of the color definition table according to the data attribute decided, and changes the color or background color of the data to be outputted with the output color data. Therefore, the data attribute of each item which is outputted (displayed or printed) can be known at a glance from the color or background of the data itself, thereby providing review environment for table data which is visually and intnifively easy to understand. |
