PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm various stapling modes in advance so as to improve reliability and handleability by providing a stapling direction display means in addition to a stapling position display means. SOLUTION: The stapling position display means is provided around a contact glass and the stapling direction display means 51 is provided in an operation part, so that the direction of a staple is displayed. The display means 51 has a display part 52 displaying a direction at the time of obliquely stapling, a display part 53 displaying a direction at the time of longitudinally stapling, a display part 54 displaying a direction at the time of laterally stapling, and illumination means are provided under the display parts 52 to 54. Since the display part 52 to 54 display the staples, the stapling direction is easily visually confirmed. For example, in the case of selecting oblique filing, the display part 52 is lighted or flickered, whereby a user is informed that the oblique filing is performed. |
