PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify structure of a decorative panel and make the decorative panel lightweight and to reduce cost by providing the decorative panel with an air inlet opening, an air outlet opening and a peripheral portion for getting into contact with a peripheral portion of an opening in a ceiling and manufacturing the decorative panel of a plate member made of sheet metal. SOLUTION: This ceiling recessed air conditioner has an air conditioner main body 1 facing an opening 3 formed in a ceiling (C) and the opening 3 is covered with a decorative panel 2 mounted on a bottom face of the air conditioner main body 1. The air conditioner main body 1 is also provided with a rectangular air inlet opening 5 and a rectangular air outlet opening 6 in a bottom face thereof. The decorative panel 2 is provided with a rectangular opening 16 for air inlet corresponding to the air inlet opening 5, a rectangular opening 17 for air outlet corresponding to the air outlet opening 6 and a peripheral portion 18 for getting into contact with a peripheral portion of an opening 3 in the ceiling. Thus, structure of the decorative panel 2 can be largely simplified and manufacture of the panel becomes easy and weight and cost of the decorative panel 2 can be greatly reduced. |
