1302178 Traps; floor outlets J B SKIBILD 19 Jan 1970 [27 Jan 1969] 4502/69 Heading E1C A trap for use in the floor of a building, with a top grating 26 or a solid plate, has an outlet 10 whose mouth 8 is covered by a sloping dip-plate 14, and a spherical bottom portion 4. The outlet 10 is connected to the trap by a portion 12 with continuously changing cross-section, the mouth 8 of the outlet being horizontally elongate. Inlets 16, 18 are provided for connection to a wash basin outlet and a bath outlet respectively, each having an interior portion 20 with a lower slot 22. These inlets may alternatively be positioned on the other side walls, and the interior portions 20 may be replaced by a downwardly-inclined deflector plate (24), Fig. 1 (not shown). |
