[Also in Division F2] In a multiple control system comprising two potentiometers 11, 12 mounted in tandem and each including a terminal-resistance element assembly 14 comprising a plastics disc 14a carrying two concentric annular conductive members 14b, 14d, electrically connected to terminals 14c, 14e respectively, the electrical circuit between members 14b, 14d being completed by wipers 14g, 14h mounted on concurrently rotatable elements 14f; the elements 14f have central keyed apertures in which are received control portions 20b, 20c of a shaft 20a, the portions 20b, 20c being connected by a reduced diameter portion 20d so that they may be twisted relative to one another to facilitate electrical matching of the potentiometers. A cap 12b, or a switch, (not further described), may then be placed on potentiometer 12. A threaded bushing 25 permits the mounting of the assembly on a panel or wall. |
