PURPOSE:To improve the transmission efficiency by using the polling system and the system in which a terminal equipment sends data to a central equipment at any time in common. CONSTITUTION:Data transmission between each guest room and a front in a hotel or the like utilizing a common TV line facility are implemented by using the polling system and the system in which data are sent from a terminal equipment at any time in common. The system is operated normally by the system in which a signal is sent from terminal equipments 301-30n only when a room charge is subject to change due to the use of a television receiver and of items in a refrigerator or the like. In this case, a central computer 1 in a central equipment 20 controls a transmission section 2 for an outgoing data signal with a central computer 1 so as to inactivate the transmission section 2 and so as to activate a converter 4. Furthermore, when a control signal corresponding to various data is sent, the system is operated by the polling system. In this case, the central computer 1 controls the transmission section 2 so as to activate the section 2 and so as to inactivate the converter 4. Thus, the defects of the two systems are compensated and the efficient transmission is attained. |
