摘要 PURPOSE:To modulate a musical interval to both a higher and a lower interval with a high modulation degree and high resolution by outputting a 2nd (1st) address signal as a read address and a 1st (2nd) address signal as a write address to a memory when the musical interval is modulated to the lower (higher) interval. CONSTITUTION:When a musical interval modulation level is so set that the musical interval is modulated to the lower interval and outputted, a modulation degree digital signal is used as a reference frequency value directly. Then the 1st address counter of a 2nd frequency dividing circuit outputs the write address and the 2nd address counter outputs the read address to write and read a signal in and out of the memory. When the musical interval is modulated to the higher interval, the complement of the modulation degree digital signal is used as the reference frequency division value of the 2nd frequency dividing circuit 34 and the output of the 1st address counter 12A is used as the read address while the output of the 2nd address counter 12B is used as the write address. Consequently, even when the musical interval is modulated to the higher interval, the high modulation degree and high resolution are obtained as well as the case wherein the musical interval is modulated to the lower interval and outputted.
