<p>NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R1 is lower alkyl; R2 is protecting group of H or OH; R3 is protecting group of SH; R4 is alkyl, substituted alkyl, phenyl, substituted phenyl or alkoxycarbonyl; R5 is H, alkyl or phenyl; Y1 and Y2 are O or S) and salt thereof. EXAMPLE:(4S)-3-[(2S, 3R)-1-Oxo-2-[(phenylthio)methyl]-3-hydroxybutyl]-4-isopropy- l-2-oxazolidinone. USE:An intermediate capable of industrially advantageously producing penem based and carbapenem based antibioties in process numbers remarkably shortened, compared with a conventional method. PREPARATION:A compound expressed by formula II is reacted with a compound expressed by formula III in a solvent without participating in the reaction in the presence of tin triflate or bron triflate and tertiary amine to provide the compound expressed by formula Ia.</p> |
