A flat-bottomed trough has a milk outlet hole at one edge of its bottom and a mechanism for tilting the trough on a stand so that the hole is disposed at the lowermost part of the trough bottom. A cutter mechanism is provided in the trough. The stand comprises three legs supporting the trough at approx. the edge of the trough bottom. The tilting mechanism is provided by one of the legs being adjustable in length.
