<p>PURPOSE:To better ethylene removing ability under the condition of much moisture and improve quickly effect properties and continuity of ethylene removing ability by adsorbing palladium chloride on active china clay or silica and preparing an ethylene removing agent. CONSTITUTION:Active chine clay or silica as a carrier is added to palladium chloride hydrochloride acid solution and then dried sufficiently to adsorb palladium chloride to the carrier and prepare an ethylene removing agent. As for the active clay as carrier, bentonite, acid clay, kaolinite or the like is suitable, and porous silica of 100m<2>/g or more of specific surface area is suitable for silica. The adsorbing amount of palladium chloride to the carrier should be 0.01-10wt.% and 0.1-1.0wt.% is suitable. The freshness of vegetables and fruits is retained effectively by making the ethylene removing agent thus prepared coexist with the vegetables and fruits in a closed container.</p> |
