1342836 Gas purification HENRICH KOPPERS GmbH 19 April 1971 [25 April 1970] 22980/71 Heading B1L Acid gases, e.g. H 2 S,CO 2 HCN, are removed from gases by washing the gas with a carboxylic acid amide of morpholine wherein the carboxylic component has 1-7 cabon atoms, and then regeneating the washing agent by removing absorbed gas. An amine may also be present in the washing soln. The acid gases may be removed by expansion or by stream stripping. Compartive examples are also given for washing with other morpholines, propylene carbonate and sulpholane. |
