PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pen-shaped input/output device which has character input and output parts formed into one body and can perform an output operation where the holograph of its user is reflected. SOLUTION: When a user inputs his handwritten Chinese character 'EI' via a two-dimensional input part 12 before the character is outputted via an output part 16, the feature information is extracted based on the user's holograph. Then, the user inputs a desired sentence via the part 12, and these input characters are recognized and stored in a prescribed area of a RAM 18c as the character data. In an output mode of the part 16, a standard face character font is called out of a ROM 18b corresponding to the character data to be outputted, and the prescribed arithmetic processing is carried out for the standard face character font to produce a print-out font where the user's holograph is reflected. The print-out font is outputted via the part 16. |
