PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve luminous efficiency and realize high luminance light emission under low voltage and low current, by making an element contain the material having a favone skeleton, in an element which emits a light by electric energy. SOLUTION: In an element which emits a light by electric energy, material having a flavone skeleton is contained, and chelate complex of flavone derivative is preferably contained. The material having a flavone skeleton is preferably material having a flavone skeleton containing at least one hydroxyl group. Further, 3-hydroxy flavone or its derivative or 5-hydroxy flavone or its derivative is more preferable. By making a light emitting device contain the material having a flavone skeleton, a light emitting device of high quality which can emit a light of high luminance under low voltage and low current can be manufactured. |
