PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To converging and develop a longitudinal width of a framework in a simple operation, by maintaining a developed posture of a seating device where a slider is positioned at the upper side by a first maintaining means, while maintaining a converged posture of the seating device where the slider is positioned at the lower side by a second maintaining means. SOLUTION: The upper ends of a front leg 2 and a rear leg 3 are hinged to an arm rest member 4, and the rear end of the arm rest member 4 is hinged to a push rod 5. The lower end of the push rod 5 is hinged to a slider 7 moving along the longitudinal direction of the rear leg 3, and the other end of a side rod 6 whose one end is hinged to the slider 7 is hinged to the front leg 2. And a developed posture of a seating device where the slider 7 is positioned to the upper side is maintained by a compression spring 13 to be a first maintaining means. And the converged posture of the seating device where the slider 7 is positioned to the lower side is maintained by a tensile spring to be a second maintaining means. Consequently, a longitudinal width of a framework can be converged and developed in a simple operation. |
