The conveyers are aligned in plan view and are supported from a frame 9 by cables 12 and winches 13. The two conveyers may be hinged together as shown in Fig. 4 so that the angle between them can be varied by the rams 25. Fig. 6 shows an embodiment in which three cables 12 support the conveyers which are joined by links 16' pivoted at both ends. Fig. 7 shows an arrangement in which the conveyers are raised and lowered by a winch and cable and the free end 127 of the conveyer 114 is guided in guides 128. Extra sprockets 124 maintain the first conveyer delivery end above the receiving end of the second conveyer. The frame 111 supporting the conveyers runs along rails 110 and a longitudinal conveyer 109 is provided. In Fig. 8 material from a first conveyer 150 is fed to a conveyer 159 and from there through a hopper 164 to a belt conveyer 155. The whole of the superstructure slews on the crawler tracks 151.</p> |
