The support arm has a support profile with a double-T cross-section, the spaces on either side of the vertical central section being used as cable conduits (2) for the supply cables for the control device or command housing. The central section of the support profile is thickened at its top end by a longitudinal torsion rod (a) with a central channel (1b) for receiving the main coupling screws (13), the horizontal sections of the support profile incorporating longitudinal channels (6) fitted with torsion pins (11) transmitting the torsion forces to the end fittings.
