PURPOSE:To provide a polymer membrane type fuel cell advantageous for obtaining high voltage. CONSTITUTION:A large number of cells 1, formed into a structure by juxtaposing five carbonaceous fuel electrodes 3 on the front side and five carbonaceous oxygen electrodes 4 on the reverse side of a polymer film 2 which is a sheet- shaped solid electrolyte having ion conductivity, are laminated in a thickness direction. Each fuel electrode 3 is electrically connected in series respectively to the oxygen electrode 4. |
