PURPOSE: To increase the dielectric constant, reduce the dielectric loss, and control the resonance frequency temperature coefficient, by using a dielectric ceramics composition of a predetermined chemical formula. CONSTITUTION: A powder mixture obtained by mixing CaCO3 , La2 O3 , TiO2 , ZnO and MgO with a predetermined ratio, is calcined in the air under a proper condition, and then ground. Then the calcined mixture is calcined again at a given temperature, and completely ground, and the calcined powder is compressed into a disc, and is sintered in the air under a proper condition. In this case, a chemical formula (1-y)CaTiO2 .vLa(Zn(1-x)/2 Mgx/2 Ti1/2 )O3 in which x is 0-1.0, and y is 0.3-0.9, is used. Whereby a dielectric ceramics composition for high frequency, having high dielectric constant, high Q value, and low temperature coefficient of resonance frequency, can be obtained. |
