PURPOSE:To make this kind of multistage cascade-connecting ceramic filter small-sized, by forming an input terminal and an output terminal on one surface of a ceramic piezoelectric thin plate, and the other surface, respectively, and laminating it in the thickness direction so that its multistage cascade-connection can be executed. CONSTITUTION:In the end part of a rectangular ceramic piezoelectric thin plate 1, electrodes 10a, 10b divided into two for effectively energizing an edge mode, and electrodes 11a, 11b opposed to said electrodes are provided on the surface and the reverse side, respectively, the respective electrodes are led out to the end part of the piezoelectric thin plate 1 which exerts no influence on vibration, they are used as outside connecting electrodes 10a', 10b', 11a' and 11b', and 10b' and 11b' are grounded G in common, an input signal is applied to 10a', and an output signal is fetched from 11a'. According to such a constitution, an input (in) terminal and an output (out) terminal are formed on the surface side and the reverse side, respectively. In this way, since input/output lead terminals are separated and formed on one surface, respectively, the cascade-connection by laminating an edge mode filter in multistage is executed easily, and as a result, a small-sized and high performance ceramic filter can be obtained even in case of multistage connection. |
