The object of the invention is to provide a supplementary arrangement for a vehicle, comprising an auxiliary shaft system 3 for height-adjustable fixing to the vehicle 1, cylinders 4, 5 fixed to the auxiliary shaft system and a machine chassis 6, which is adjustably fixed by means of a connecting part 7 to the cylinders 4, 5 of the auxiliary shaft system 3. For keeping the machine in a largely balanced position, the supplementary arrangement has a height-adjustable bar 9, fixed to or in proximity to the shaft system further away from the vehicle auxiliary shaft system, to which bar the connecting part 7 is fixed with a facility for transverse adjustment. The balanced position of the connecting part 7 and of the machine fixed thereto in the transverse direction is thereby determined through the interaction of the positions of the shaft system situated closest to or further away from the shaft system of the machine's supplementary arrangement, and of the auxiliary shaft 12, and the balanced position of the connecting part 7 in the longitudinal direction is determined by the reciprocal height ratio resulting from the interaction of the shaft system 2 situated nearest to the vehicle supplementary arrangement and the auxiliary shaft system 2 and the shaft system 3 and the shaft system situated further away from the vehicle auxiliary shaft. <IMAGE>
