The present invention is related to a flashlight holder (12) for protective helmets, hardhats or the like comprising a carrier element (16) adapted to accommodate within its inner walls a standard flashlight (14), an adjustment means (18, 20, 22) connected to the carrier element (16) and provided to adjust the carrier (16) holding the flashlight (14) in the position required by the protective helmet wearer. A mounting adaptor means (22, 28) is connected to the carrier element (16) by the adjustment means (18, 20, 22) and provided to releasably attach the holder (12) to the side of the protective helmet (10). Adjustment means (18, 20, 22) are located at the lower extremity of the carrier element (16). Those adjustment means comprise a swivel ball-socket arrangement (18, 20). Another embodiment comprises a carrier element (16) integrally connected to an outer wall or casing of the flashlight element (14). |
