PURPOSE:To simplify surely a mathematical expression with a simple operation by judging the coincidence between respective elements in response to an operator, applying numeric calculation to expressions whose elements are coincident, combining the numeric calculation and the mathematical expression calculation with the result of calculation operation and arranging the result as one expression. CONSTITUTION:An operator in a mathematical expression is judged sequentially and an element relating to the operator selects a numeral, a variable, an expression and an expression in brackets to apply the numeric calculation. Further, the variable, the expression or the expression in brackets selected in response to the operator is used as one element, the coincidence of each element is judged in response to the operator and the numeric calculation for the coincident elements is executed. Then the results of numeric and mathematical expression calculations are combined to arrange the result as one mathematical expression thereby simplifying the expression.
