<p>A fastener of the type having an elongate slot-like opening through a base member that is substantially parallel and aligned with a slot-like opening between free-ends of a pair of opposed resilient arms spaced apart from the base member for receiving and securing an externally threaded member such as a screw to an article such as a plate or a panel. Means such as an open-sided clip are provided for securing the fastener to the article and free-ends, of the fastener are shaped into a plurality of spaced-apart opposed concave curved portions to provide a plurality of spaced-apart arcuate openings therealong that are adapted to selectively receive the threaded member therethrough with the opposed curved portion thereof adapted to engage the threads of the threaded member to provide an arcuate surface of contact therebetween.</p> |
