It is proposed that the revolving blade which rotates about the axis of rotation of the drive shaft be terminated at a distance from the axis of rotation of the drive shaft and the adjustment device be arranged centrally with respect to the drive shaft above the adjustment plate. This makes simple adjustment of the cutting thickness possible from above, after removal of the container lid or through the latter. A blade support which supports and bears the revolving blade preferably has a hub which can be coupled to the drive shaft and is axially supported by the drive shaft. The adjustment plate, but also the blade support, can be mounted on and axially supported by the lid of the working container. <IMAGE>
