For an improved sweeping of the ground and a careful and reliable pick-up of fodder, it is proposed, in a fodder-collecting machine, to design a radially oriented tine end with a ground-sweeping sliding curve in the manner of a hockey stick. As a result, in rotary tedders and, if appropriate, rotary windrowers, losses due to crumbling and damage to the ground by piercing tines are reliably avoided and a clean pick-up of fodder is achieved.
