PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a secondary battery with a large capacity, a high energy density, and good rapid charge/discharge characteristics by using composite matter of a certain insoluble and infusible substrate and polimerized matter of aniline. CONSTITUTION:For active material of a positive electrode 1 is used composite matter of insoluble and infusible substrate which is heat processed matter of aromatic condensation polymer as condensed matter of aromatic hydrocarbon compound including phenolic hydroxyl group and aldehyde group a polyacene skeleton structure for which atomic ratio of hydrogen atoms/carbon atoms is 0.05-0.5 and a specific surface value of at least 600m<2>/g, and polimerized matter of aniline. Solution of compound which can produce ions subject to doping to the positive electrode active material by electrolysis dissolved in aprotic organic solvent is used for electrolyte 4. An organic electrolyte battery with a high capacity, a high energy density and good rapid charge/discharge characteristics can thus be obtained. |
