The door comprises a door leaf 1 on the inside of which there is a looking device with lock 9, latch bolts 10, mechanisms for moving the latch bolts in a controlled manner from the outside of the door, and safety catches 17, preferably of the pin type, for locking the latch bolts in the locked position, and where a panel of toughened glass is preferably arranged on the outside in relation to a lock and safety catches connected to the inside of the door leaf, so that triggering of the safety catches is intended to take place on actuation from outside on the lock and/or a safety catch, the safety catches being held in the non-triggered position by means of a portion of glass and being arranged to assume the triggered position when the said portion breaks, and the glass is of a type in which, when a part of a continuous portion is acted upon so that it breaks, the whole section breaks. The door is distinguished especially by the fact that a support plate 15 is provided which is distinct from the inside of the door leaf 1, but is arranged on the said inside, and is arranged in a central internal recess 7 in the door and is enclosed by a beam- like edge 8 and is screened off from the outside by means of a glass portion of the said type and supports guides 33 for latch bolts 10, an attachment for lock 9 and safety catches 7. <IMAGE> |
