PURPOSE:To permit the easy removal of dust adhered to the surface of a heater core by a method wherein a pipe having a plurality of nozzles is provided in a clearance between an evaporator and the heater core to inject cleaning fluid against the surface of the heater core. CONSTITUTION:An evaporator 7, positioned below a duct 4 and the front surface thereof is covered by a filter 6, a heater core 8, positioned at the rear side of the evaporator 7 with a slight gap, and a fan 9, positioned behind the heater core, are arranged in a case 5. The hose 17 of a cleaning device 20 is taken out and compressed air or pressurized water is sent through the hose 17 whereby the air or the water is blown against the surface of the heater core 8 through a multitude of nozzles 16 provided on a pipe 14 whereby dust, adhered to the surface of the heater core 8, may be removed. The dust, blown off by the air or flushed by the water, is discharged together with the air or the water through a drain port 10 provided for the discharging of dew water. |
