PURPOSE: To provide a reliable connection even under high pressure by constructing the connection from a support portion having support surfaces introduced into a pipe to be connected and a clamping means having pressure surfaces placed on the outside of the pipe. CONSTITUTION: A plastic pipe 2 is pressed beyond a support portion 4 in the area of a pipe end 3 to be connected. A clamping means 5 is provided on the outside of the pipe 2 and comprises a sealing portion 6 and a clamping portion 8. The sealing portion 6 has a thread ridge 7 when in a fitted configuration, with which the clamping portion 8 meshes. The support portion 4 has a projection 25 and pressure surfaces 26, 27 are formed on the support portion 4 and extended at an inclination to the axis of the pipe 2. As a result, a reliable connection is guaranteed even in the event of expansion and contraction under high pressure with great temperature changes, and manufacture and assembly can be achieved easily. |
