There are provided compositions containing kojic acid as an effective ingredient which are extremely effective for the treatment of pigmentation such as endogenous chloasma, senile moles, sunlight-induced moles, pigmented spots after inflammation, etc., which have been heretofore difficult to cure and aggravation of which causes serious conditions. No side effects are observed in administrating and, therefore, the compositions of the present invention are quite safe and effective medicaments. |
