PURPOSE:To stabilize vibration isolating property by connecting a load carrying platform and a base to be loaded with machinery to each other through a series of suspension members respectively engaging with both parts and having small flexural rigidity, and further connecting the platform and the base through longer subsidiary suspension members than the suspension members. CONSTITUTION:An outside case 4 and an inside case 5 respectively engaged with beam-like members 41 and 51 are connected to each other through suspension members 6 of length (l1), and the beginning end and the ending end of the suspension member 6 are connected to each other with a connecting metal piece 9. Further, a base 1 and a load carrying platform 2 are connected to each other through subsidiary suspension members 16 of length (l2). At vibration of the base 1, the position of the base is moved from A-A to B-B, and the fitting positions of the subsidiary suspension member is moved from O2-D to O2-D'. Hereupon, the distance (l2') between the fitting positions of the subsidiary suspension member is expressed as follows: l2'=(l -2(l2-l1)delta)<1/2>, where delta is displacement in the vertical direction. Consequently, l2'<=l2 is brought in case of l1<=l2, and as the subsidiary suspension member is slackened and applied by no load at vibration of the base, generation of impulsive force at emergency is prevented without influence on the vibration isolating performance. |
