PURPOSE:To ensure that a high-quality print image can be stably realized at adequately low energy even with a medium for transfer with a low rate of surface smoothness when an image is printed at high speed in addition to superior image resolution by using an isocyanate polymer of lanolin aliphatic polyhydric alcohol ester as a main component with peel-off properties. CONSTITUTION:A thermally transferable recording medium consists of at least, a peel-off layer and a thermally melting ink layer provided on a support. The peel-off layer contains an isocyanate polymer of lanolin aliphatic polyhydric alcohol ester as a main component. The isocyanate polymer of lanolin aliphatic polyhydric alcohol ester is represented by commercial products (e.g. 'LANOX FP-141ON(R)', 'LANOX FP-14(R)', 'LANOX FP-8(R)' of Yoshikawa Seiyu Co.,Ltd.) or other various types of product. The lanolin aliphatic polyhydric alcohol ester contains hydroxyl or a carboxylic group of lanolin fatty acid origin and hydroxyl of polyhydric alcohol origin as activated hydrogen in the molecule. |
