PURPOSE:To certainly and efficiently detect the erroneous connection and half die cutting of a cable by operating a cable test which confirms a cable connection between devices and in a device in the process of the initial program loading of a computer system. CONSTITUTION:Data are scanned-in a latch alpha of a device A at a transmission side which turns-on a connection cable towards latches alpha, beta connected corresponding to the cable jack of the connection cable between each device and in a device, which operate the scan-in and out. Then, a signal which turns-on the connection cable generates clocks in the number necessary for being transmitted to the latch beta connected with the connection cable of a device B at the other side to be connected, operates the computer system, scans out the value of the latch beta of the device B at a reception side, and operates the connection test of the connection cable. Thus, the connection test of the connection cable between each processor and in the device can be automatically operated in the rising process of the computer system, and the erroneous connection and half die cutting of the cable are certainly and efficiently detected. |
