PURPOSE:To obtain desirable conductivity without harming light transmittance and enable action with low driving voltage by containing pigments with a conductive member coupled to the surface thereof by a coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:An electrodeposited color filter 41 contains pigments with a conductive member 21 coupled to the surface thereof by a coupling agent. That is, the conductive member 21 can be coupled evenly to individual pigments by interposing the coupling agent on the pigment surface. The conductive member 21 is thereby dispersed evenly in the electrodeposited color filter 41 so as to secure desirable conductivity. Both conductivity and high light transmittance can be thus obtained easily, and also the light transmittance at each place is made uniform. In addition, the capacity between electrodes can be sufficiently reduced, and driving can be performed with low driving voltage. |
