<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to deal with static electricity after formation of a display panel and to prevent the destruction of switching elements by forming one of terminal parts and short circuit wiring out of a transparent conductive film contg. indium oxide and another one out of a specific film or specific compd. film. CONSTITUTION:The respective scanning wiring and signal wiring of the substrate for the display device, all the scanning wirings and signal wiring of which are shorted with the short circuit wiring 2, are connected via terminal part 1 to the short circuit wiring 2. One of the terminal part 1 and the short circuit wiring 2 consists of the transparent conductive film contg. the indium oxide and the other consists of a Ta film or Ta compd. film. Between the terminal part 1 and short circuit wiring 2 one provided on the substrate side preferably consists of Ta film or Ta compd. and the other consists of the transparent conductive film contg. the indium oxide. As a result, the function as the short circuit wiring to protect the switching element is sufficiently exhibited when a large voltage like static electricity is applied.</p> |
