<p>PURPOSE:To obtain such a color filter that can be easily produced in a rather short time, can be used for a large-size screen and shows no deterioration of performance due to leakage of undesired light through a space between a light shielding pattern and picture elements by successively forming a first transparent photoconductive layer, light-shielding pattern, second transparent photoconductive layer, and colored picture elements for the color filter on a transparent substrate. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic sensitive substrate for the color filter is produced by forming a transparent conductive layer and a first transparent conductive layer 3 on a transparent supporting body 1. Then, picture elements of the first color, namely a light shielding pattern is formed by reversal or normal development. Then, a second transparent photoconductive layer 3' is formed by coating and electrified with negative charges by using an electrifier. During electrification, the transparent conductive layer 2 is grounded. Then, picture elements of the second color are exposed through a mask and developed with a negative charge toner to form picture elements 12 of the second color. Then, picture elements 13, 14 of the third and forth colors are formed in the same procedure to obtain the color filter.</p> |
