PURPOSE:To reduce the number of accesses to a server side and to release the burden of a network by performing the link processing of combined document by using the copy of the source data at the server side on the information processor of a client. CONSTITUTION:When a linking request comes for source data 52 at the server side in a combined document 61, the copy of the source data 52 at the server side is made inside in the information processor at the client side. The final updating date is held in the storage device 42 and the copy data are registered in a linking mechanism 65. When a start request comes to the copy data, a lock request of the source data 52 at the server side is sent to the file management with lock. When the request is succeeded, the final updating date and the date of the present source data in the storage device of the source data 52 are compared and when they are not matched, the copy data of the source data 52 at the server side are made to the storage device 42 at the client side. The object is started by using the copy data in the combined document 61. |
