PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin mechanism component which reduces a coefficient of friction in a sliding operation, which reduces the wear amount of a molded body and which increases a sliding characteristic by a method wherein a face in which a surface maximum height in one out of opposite sliding faces is at a prescribed value is coated with a fluorine-based coating agent. SOLUTION: In a molded body composed of a resin, a surface maximum height (Rmax; in conformity with JIS-B-0601) in at least one out of opposite sliding faces is 1μm<=Rmax<=100μm. The effect of a fluorine-based coating agent is revealed remarkably when at least one out of the opposite sliding faces has a proper surface roughness. The fluorine-based coating agent is obtained in such a way that a fluorine-based resin is half dissolved in a solvent whose volatility is high. When a sliding part at the molded body is coated with the fluorine-based coating agent, one out of the opposite sliding faces is coated.
