METHOD AND DEVICE FOR BYPASS INFORMATION COMMUNICATION IN ANALOG AND DATA COMMUNICATION

PURPOSE: To simultaneously transmit voice and data by multiplexing a by-pass channel with a data signal and adding an obtained multiplexed signal to an analog signal. CONSTITUTION: A simultaneous voice and data communication modem 100 encodes both a data signal and a voice signal to obtain a voice and data combination signal. This signal is transmitted to a simultaneous voice and data communication modem 300 through a local line 101, a public switching telephone network 200, and a local line 301. The modem 300 receives the combination signal transmitted by the modem 100 and supplies the data signal to a data terminal equipment 30 and supplies the voice signal to a telephone set 40. The by-pass channel is used to obtain a capability of relaying information of a current data signal space to a modem on the other end side. Thus, not only additional information is transmitted between simultaneous voice and data communication end points but also a voice signal is transmitted throughout the band width of data connection of the simultaneous voice and data communication system.
