The arrangement contains at least one electrical-mechanical piezoceramic convertor as an actuator, at least one mechanical-electrical piezoceramic convertor as a sensor (5) and an electronic controller which controls the actuator, evaluates the sensor signals and operates a drive unit accordingly. The actuator and sensor are arranged on a continuous transfer path (3) forming part of a surface region of the actuated part (1) and/or a fixed part with which it interacts so that part of the energy developed by the actuator is converted into acoustic surface waves. The waves propagate on the transfer path and are received by the sensor. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for preventing powered vehicle window and sliding roof collisions. Triggering force is reduced and only reacts in immediate danger area. Is insensitive to fouling, water, wear and ageing of its parts.
